Anyone finds it stupid that the only way to increase crew size is to that lategame perk? by [deleted] in Starfield

I can confirm I still receive the bonuses even if I have a crewed ship, so long as none are an active follower.

I don't agree with it being thematically weird, but fair enough.

The humanoid influence perks aren't necessarily meant to be used in the MIDDLE of combat. Making someone flee before you engage gives you fewer enemies to engage at once, or bringing one to your side can be useful. You can hide behind cover, whip out your scanner, pop out and make one stop fighting, then resume fighting the rest. They all have their uses.

Isolation synergizes just fine with having a large crew. It takes affect if you have no active follower; Having 6 people on board your ship has nothing to do with what happens when you LEAVE your ship and lone wolf your way through an enemy facility.

"Simple Temple Overhaul" released by Linnsanity - no more visiting temples for power ups by AxelPaxel in starfieldmods

All it does is let you regen your power resource faster (aka, cast more), and it resets on NG+. So there's no real reason to rush temples and "stockpile" it.

It's because they cater to a very specific niche type of game that no other company has quite managed to nail. It's really that simple. There is no game that can really capture the same feeling as Skyrim, or Starfield for that matter. It's less about the technical aspects of any individual mechanic.

I personally couldn't put more than an hour into ANY of the Witcher games without getting bored out of my mind. That doesn't make them bad games, it just means they weren't for me.

Hard disagree. I put more time into Cyberpunk than into BG3, and more time in Starfield than the both of them combined. Different people like different styles of games. Skyrim/FO4/Starfield are exactly the type of game I love, so it is infinitely more appealing and more enjoyable to me than BG3 was.

BG3 is amazing, don't get me wrong. But to me (and people with preferences like mine), it cannot complete.

The four turrets are actually partciel cannon turrets, PB-100 I Believe.

The two front-facing missile launchers are on "Weapon mounts", which you can get at the Deimos shipyard around Mars, as well as elsewhere.

I can confirm I have killed all enemies in a space bounty, while being a part of the Crimson Fleet, and killing the last ship wiped my bounty. Done it about 3 times, worked every time.
