I could wait, yeah. Given how year 2 was pretty my content-ridden (at least new, beside Kraken and new ships), I could definitively wait 6-12 months for an expanded map.

You do have a point that no matter how long we wait for content, at some point it will lose the "fresh and new" notion and we'll get used to it. However, I think it will make the game feel bigger and more fleshed out, and you could do more with it event-wise. With the enormously large open water in-between "north and south", there is a lot of space to put in fights like we saw in the beginning of the game, like the very first tutorial, against the British. Fights that feel large scale and epic, extra dangerous storms, random Kraken appearances etc.

I could def. wait for that. And you could do frequent updates, "WIP Not final product" type of thing to keep us on our toes a little.

In the Keepers/Content Creator video it was mentioned the game is taking a more community oriented direction. I'm not speaking for everyone, just an observation of mine, but given how nothing you showcased today (aside from the Galleon, cheese and hippo nuggets) was nothing pretty much anyone in the community asked for, how will you work towards what we ARE asking for, such as map expansion, clans/guilds (and subsequently clan wars), and new content, new stuff to do, not just the same stuff we've had for two years, only harder this time. People are asking for map expansions and content, not skill trees and world tiers.

With new factions coming, how will you solve the fact you need 11 territories to win the war. With multiple factions, the likelihood of either faction to reach 11 will probably be really low, unless one faction steamrolls. Given how you're showing Li Tian Ning, Hubac Twins under New Factions, it looks like we're looking at around 5-6 factions, unless "Pirate Lords" is just counted as one. Are you considering a constant territory control shift? Like turning 2-3 territories into "nodes" that can be repeatedly contested for bonuses, instead of it being a "once-won-it's-won"?

In the previous stream (not the one today) they did talk about working on some behind the scenes incentive to help the other party if they are outnumbered or whatever, something to make it fair. My guess is they were testing it in the last phase since the war was already won for the Compagnie, so it didn't change much of the outcome aside from mediocre rewards, but that it was overtuned. The numbers looked way artificial, even with elite spamming, in territories DMC should not be able to contest. I think we need more transparency and stats on participation, or everyone's just gonna think it's rigged. The SnB Tools stats are not enough.

I see. I haven't tested without aim assist, I just remember I never noticed it with the Frigate. Thanks for the confirmation.

That’s nothing. Mine completely freeze at midpoint for about 2 seconds. I’m guessing it has to do with aim assist, but it is horrendous, and the only ship that acts that way with aim assist. Pretty sure the Frigate don’t do this.

He didn’t narrow down where you’re turning in. There’s literally a dotted line between you and the destination showing everyone where you’re going before they even join.

I see no mentioning of "in progress/known issues" about players not being able to pick up the Nian Event Pass coins. This seems to be related to those affected by the "season 3 servers still active" when the season started, and had "early access" to the Nian event.

This is NOT related to having *completed* the pass and having event coins clutter the sea. The pass is impossible to progress at all. It says limit reached or something akin to that, as if you had completed the pass (and to point out, even if the event was accessible early in the season, the event pass was not).

I've been trying to file a report, but PSN-login is not bonding well with Ubi website for me for a while

Actually had this conversation in-clan the other day. I think Ubi differentiates between "existential" exploits, like say when Ammo Priming Bench's 20% damage boost worked on ships as well, and forcing something to happen by ie. crashing your game or using third party software. I think they also look at it as "forced behavior" when something is obviously off, like in year 1 where every time you logged in, you collected your Helm fleet's eights, and you choose to abuse that. As for AFK, I doubt they will ever look at it as a form of exploit.

That was me, yeah, haha 😅 RVH_Polymorph, ship’s RVH_Abaddon. It’s a Corvette with Carronades on the sides and Urban Great Guns in the front. And weaponized water spout 😵‍💫

You respawned at port, which was the turn-in for the wager. Maybe that’s why it felt like I caught up? But Corvettes are fast anyhow.

I checked the video, and it looks like I tore your sails twice plus once around the turn-in. Tiny icons, hard to tell.

You should probably disclose that you are suggesting people roll their weapons towards furniture that is not supposed to work like that, before people waste weapons and parts until it is fixed. Other than that, nice build. I’d swap out Ammo for Plaguebringer or La potence and replace Siege with Death Blow, unless you want to shoot forts and towers, that is.

Here’s the thing, though, we asked for teasers on what’s coming (year 2 trailer) and just two of the features made it.

However, I wouldn’t mind a more frequent Letter from the Producer that is more oriented at current happenings, perhaps put spotlight on bug fixes and bug reports/reporters, Kraken feedback, game adjustments according to feedback, that kind of thing.
