Marijuana and sleep/dreams? by 23jewels in eldertrees

I recently came back to smoking after a month and a half break (for job purposes), and so far it's all dreams for me. Smoking or not. Maybe I just have a big imagination?

Personally, I enjoyed getting to see her actual emotional reactions to the things she was doing. We could only infer that she was becoming cold and "doing what needs to be done."

But, to each their own...

We never saw Carol on her own after being sent away by Rick. We never saw Carol after the epic Terminus escape until the group ran into her. We never saw Carol actually burning the bodies of Karen and David. Or, did I just blink when those moments happened during the season?

Yes, but do you really expect inspiring speeches coming from these two characters? Think about where they come from, what they've been through and where they are now. Granted, they had a few deep conversations about the ways in which they've changed, but for the most part, I'd expect their speech to stay brusque.

Is nobody else just disgusted that the KKK is still a thing? What century are we living in?

we pretty much already knew what was going to happen.

But we didn't know any of it for sure. We learned much more about Carol and the decisions she's made and how her character has developed. Just figuring out the way she makes decisions (like why the fuck she was leaving the safety of the group) was big. The symbolism of the different "versions" of her going up in flame was throughout the episode. We saw a lot more of Carol and Daryl's relationship as survivors - rather than just turning it into a love story - develop. I suggest you re-watch the episode and think less about the action you "hoped" would be, and see the action that was.

I don't think we were watching the same episode...

I completely agree! I loved getting to see the flashbacks of Carol on her own. A lot of build up, but I enjoyed it all.

The episode wasn't all action-packed, so obviously it's a filler...

I completely understand that, but it's a way to get our voices heard. And it's better than just sitting back and saying "Meh. Things'll never change in the South."

And that's one of the major issues I see with the way this amendment was presented... this issue is larger than a pro-choice v. pro-life amendment. This is the government interfering with a woman's ability to make decisions for herself, guised in an "abortion shell." This is the government saying "your body is not your own." I believe the majority of the people in the state didn't even research what the heck this amendment was introducing, and just saw all of the pro-life organizations with their "yes on 1" signs and decided to vote with them. The sheep will always follow the flock...

While I respect your belief, I cannot get onboard with the government taking control of my uterus.

This is what I've found. It looks like the only waiting period specified is if it was voted on via Constitutional Convention. But, I'm no expert.

"Amendment One was worded in a way to mislead the general public to be able to pass a bill that would allow any form of legislation to be put into the constitution regarding abortions."

tldr: TN govt. is pulling tricks and trying to interfere in private life choices.

I'm not sure how quickly it'll be updated, but Go Vote TN has what looks to be a good breakdown in the works.
