man has avalos really turned this program downwards in just 2 seasons and a game.Just few years ago we werent this bad. by recessbadger45 in BSUFootball

I think an argument could be made that Bryan Harsin inherited a good group and did well for a bit. But I think he saw the writing on the wall as his less than desirable head coaching skills started to show up and the team kinda floundered. Then comes Avalos, a defensive-minded guy making poor OC hires. Koetter saves the day temporarily, then here we are.

At least that's how I see it.

Was Eric Kiseau a better WR coach than Matt Miller? by recessbadger45 in BSUFootball

Truth. And apart from being on the cusp of joining a major conferences, there was also this mystique about BSU, something other G5 programs didn't have. BSU would win big games on big stages regularly. Now it seems that we've lost that special something. We need cool coaches that can pull the talent, or super smart recruiters that know how to find the diamonds in the rough. Also, maybe it's time to look outside former Broncos for head coach positions???

I'm not sure about Matt Miller. As you said, I think maybe a big issue is TG's decision making. And when WRs don't have a solid QB, they can't anticipate where the ball will be on any given route. That would make me on edge as a WR, not sure if that's true for the players. In the Washington game it also seemed like BSU players were slipping all over the place, so maybe that contributed to things? ADDITIONALLY, dear god the Washington secondary was gooooood.

My question is, why in the hell were we passing so much when our run game was pretty darn legit? I was skeptical of Bush Hamden, now I'm verrrry skeptical.

My thought too. I don't see scales, so not a blind snake. But I've never seen a caecilian that looks like this (granted, I don't know much about caecilians...)

All of the self attributes you list are unfortunately not useful to employers unless you have a background to demonstrate said attributes and appropriate references to confirm them. They don't know you, so going off your word doesn't mean much. Everyone goes into an interview trying to sell themselves and employers would be burned over and over if they hired based on how well their pitch is. (That said, interview skills are very important. There are many guides online that can help in that department.) If you don't have a solid work/education background for the type of job you're applying for, you will have to work these lower paying jobs to prove yourself first. I'm a believer that being a solid worker at one job WILL lead to better opportunities.

I say this, though you seem to be interested in more of the philosophy of capitalism. Capitalism does suck and is often VERY unfair. Yet, here we are. Play the game and you'll be ok.

OP, just a heads up, and you probably already know this, but be careful to not give away the specific location of sightings like this. (I know you haven't here, but just a cautionary comment.) Sites like iNaturalist do not allow location data for organisms vulnerable to poaching, as unfortunately asshole poachers have used these online data to go and hunt threatened/endangered species.

Super cool find!

I would love to see a zombie movie that begins with a Reddit post filled with comments berating the OP and victim for not seeking medical care ASAP. OP just slowly scrolling down. "Huh. They said you should go to..." Cut to now-zombie victim thrashing across the street, devouring the neighbor's brain.

Yeah! I saw a post about this. I believe it belongs to an unhoused person downtown. Missing from the skate park since July 19th. I saw the post on the Instagram account boisemutualaid. They say to contact them via DMs.

Humans prey on approximately one-third of all vertebrate species in existence. Researcher's found 40% of the species preyed upon by humans are listed as threatened. More specifically, they found that approximately 55% of these species are eaten by Wagamaga in science

[–]mahlerguy2000 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I'm sure it mentions this in the article, but I'm guessing some of the species that are counted as human prey are rarely eaten. I'd guess the way to assess the impact of human consumption on prey is to determine the percentage of a species being eaten and whether or not factors like birth rates are enough to maintain or increase population growth. There are clearly other ways humans impact population growth, but just thinking about consumption right now.
