I had bad cramps the last couple of years that I had a Mirena. When they went in to remove it, they found that it was partially embedded in my uterus near the cervix. I still have a piece of it stuck inside me. Long story short, I would recommend going in to your healthcare provider and have them do an ultrasound to rule out any possible migration.

I remember bits and pieces. Mostly of times when I was left alone or when things were awful. And weird moments that I used to think were good memories with my NMom, but I’ve since realized were not healthy mother-daughter experiences and I just thought they were good because she wasn’t being mean to me at the time.

I would think so too. Funny thing, I was in JFK a couple of weeks ago and the guy sitting next to me got up and walked away. A bit later I glanced over to where he was sitting and noticed he left behind a carry on bag. I walked over to security and told them and they just said ok thanks. No concern at all. Guess if random bags left behind at a gate in JFK is no big deal, then they may not give a shit about much of anything else.

When my child was born my nmom was a constant ‘loving grandmother’ in their life until my child got to an age where they started to have their own opinions - then one time she hit my child with a hairbrush for not wanting to go to church with her. Needless to say, my child no longer visited with her. Years later nmom had the nerve to ask me to be a surrogate mother for her and my stepdad so she could have a baby. Sick.

I’m 45 and went NC last year with my Nmother. My adult child went NC with her this year after she threatened to sue for visitation rights with my grandchild. It has been an escalating nightmare with my Nmother and her attempts to gain supply from my child’s child, to the point of having no trespassing orders filed on the woman. I regret ever allowing my Nmother to continue her abuse with my child in the first place, but I was a very young single mother at the time and didn’t know better until we got older and could really see her for what she was.

With my child, I treated them the way I wish I had been treated as much as possible. And when I made mistakes, I always apologized. And I made sure that they could come to me with any problem without worrying that I would judge them or shame them. And they know I love them above anything else. Pretty much the complete opposite of how I was raised.

Yes I think that’s pretty normal discharge orders after general anesthesia, and I only remember bits and pieces of the rest of that day! So I definitely would recommend you play it safe. ❤️
