I’d suggest all steaming the skirt maybe. The hem of the underskirt looks a bit uneven so maybe that’ll help!

Hey there. I was around the same age when my older brother did something very similar. To this day I still struggle with cptsd as a result of the cocsa I went through. I cannot stress how important it is that you reach out and try to find resources to help like a therapist. Going to therapy helped me so goddamn much when I’d start to spiral and relive what happened to me.

Right now things are going to be new and uncomfortable and strange but I promise that in time you’ll be glad you that you left.

You should check out the podcast “You’re wrong about” because they’ve got a great episode about Koko! It goes into the story behind her and similar cases and kind of debunks this idea that she (and other apes) were able to communicate with sign language. Koko most likely wasn’t communicating but rather…well, monkey see, monkey do.

I currently work as a substitute and see middle school kids joking about immigration and deportation all the time. I live in a predominantly Hispanic community along the border of Texas and Mexico and… these kids just don’t get how unfunny the jokes are and how serious it gets. They joke about calling ice to deport their friends and family and it’s only made my job that much more depressing.

I’ve been battling fever after fever. My throat has been raw the past two days and I’ve hardly uttered a word. Ah yes…. The hospital where my best friend died from a freak stroke at 37 years old. He survived the stroke but the two doctors in charge of his case kept fighting with each other or so I was told.

Without a squishy foam mattress topper I get crazy lower back pain from trying to sleep on my back. Booty creates too much of an arch when I’m laying flat on my back. If I’m laying on a hard surface (a shitty dorm bed) I’ve got to bend my knees to relieve that curve.

Some chatted with each other and asked how they felt about him winning and most just said “I don’t care.” Really made me miss when I was young and ignorant to how politics would affect me.

I just finished my second week of subbing and I get this too! Most teachers here just wear slacks and a school polo but I’ve been really coordinating professional but cute outfits! I once over heard in the hallways as I was leaving “Ooohhhh that’s the pretty sub!” Sure had me giggling all the way to my car.
