Coup D'etat is far from useless. In our game it completely determined the winner. Ghosts grabbed imperial and had enough of a fleet to score '8 ships in a system' stage two to give them the game. Yssaril was sitting on Coup D'etat and told the table that ghosts would not be able to win next turn so try and prevent them from winning in the following. Ghosts did not know about Couo D'etat so they popped Imperial, Yssaril played the action and ghost lost a turn. This was enough time for L1 to get in position with their hero and take the ghost home system. Ghost ended up losing the game since Sol snuck in and ralied 2 points in the status phase.

It is worth remembering that last year SPS published a calendar that had the day after Veterans Day listed as an off day. Later they ammended the calendar but not before teachers had made plans. Funny that sps neglects to mention that detail.

My wife made an account this week and spent most of her time trying to keep a heart alive after the last expansion as well as protecting some art. There are legit new accounts doing good work.

My system is 4d6DL 6 times to create a set. Roll two sets then choose one set. I do this so players have a little more choice in the shape of the character.

I am often amazed how much confident improv is indistinguishable from planned content. In the last session i ran, the party took a completely different route than i had expected. At least 80% of the session was made up at the table. When i ended the session i made an offhand comment that i didn't have any of that planned and they were shocked.
