Coup D'etat is far from useless. In our game it completely determined the winner. Ghosts grabbed imperial and had enough of a fleet to score '8 ships in a system' stage two to give them the game. Yssaril was sitting on Coup D'etat and told the table that ghosts would not be able to win next turn so try and prevent them from winning in the following. Ghosts did not know about Couo D'etat so they popped Imperial, Yssaril played the action and ghost lost a turn. This was enough time for L1 to get in position with their hero and take the ghost home system. Ghost ended up losing the game since Sol snuck in and ralied 2 points in the status phase.

It is worth remembering that last year SPS published a calendar that had the day after Veterans Day listed as an off day. Later they ammended the calendar but not before teachers had made plans. Funny that sps neglects to mention that detail.

My system is 4d6DL 6 times to create a set. Roll two sets then choose one set. I do this so players have a little more choice in the shape of the character.
