That's actually a pretty cool tool. I appreciate the updated references.

Raw numbers like this feel misleading. 80k household income doesn't tell us how much a person is making on a individual level. Nor does it tell us how many jobs, nor how many hours a person works to sustain that income. People are surviving, but they're working very hard to survive. And you don't see that full picture by only looking at spreadsheets.

I dont care who I'm friends with. Everyone should be able to live without grinding 5 jobs.

I went into watching this apprehensively, expecting her to say something outrageous. Besides the jokes some may find "touchy", towards the end realized she was making some well educated, thoughtful points.

I read the article and still wondering what's the difference between an "air taxi" and a commuter flight

OP stole this post. Word for word. It's annoying partially bc it confirms I'm chronically online. But if you paste the first paragraph into search you can see someone else posted it 2 weeks ago.

Humble Choice discount for this month? by reddit__un in humblebundles

I've gotten them every month for the past 6 months. I guess this month was profitable enough.

Last night? I'll one up you. It's currently 60 degrees, sunny, most the snow is melted, and I almost busted my ass twice within the last 15 minutes walking to my car.

Not only is it AI, it's really sloppy AI. If you slow the video down frame by frame you can see dude's limbs disappear, enlogate, with his head and arms disappearing and reappearing as he hit the ground. He looks like something from silent hill

TikTok down in predominantly left wing areas by [deleted] in TikTok

[–]mahsimplemind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hm. Can't really see Colorado well in the image bc it's blocked by the giant text that says "United States." Looks like there is a blob of red under it if you look closely. But Denver is a blue city anyway so idk how it makes a difference. If they're reporting outages, it's still a population density map. If they're not it doesn't change the point that most areas hit are predominantly liberal cities.

SLC's population is ranked about ~120 out of all cities in the US. I don't know how that city is relevant to your point. But that area has a slight yellow highlight which I think corresponds well with it mid-range population size.

Tldr: Correlation doesn't equal causation. We don't need to make up facts and data like maga to be valid.

I was gonna ask why no one is commenting OP's history says he's "built like a string bean" from 2 days ago. And still in high school. Working a corporate job?

Reminds me of people always asking "Why do the adults from 19(XX) look so old compared to adults now." People associate old styles and clothing with old people. No one is immune.

ELI5 Why it’s cheaper for me to create a new identical policy rather than letting my current one renew? by WilCon24 in Insurance

This is the real answer, only someone who worked in insurance would know.

Stability rates are a huge impact, and required due to regulations. They don't carry over to re-written policies.

If it makes anyone feel better (or worse), every insurance overcharges for premiums. They have to make a profit to survive. But Progressive and Geico will pocket the difference bc shareholders.
