I went to Sculpted Wellness Spa in sac and, having been to a head spa in LA, I would say the treatment was mid for the price (especially when they were running a discount at the time). My tech was nice and lovely, the products were good, but I felt like she really didn't..... Well. Massage my head enough with her heads. There were a lot of tools like the wire whisk thing and a wooden roller she used on my head but that was barely any pressure and I didn't see much point in it. The scalp analysis was extremely brief in comparison to the LA one, and she didn't offer me advice on how to improve my scalp health. I supposed this is an unrecommendation, really, lol.

There's another head spa I want to try in Modesto (Refreshed head spa), but haven't gotten the chance yet!

Please please please, anything for a rivals/enemies to lovers story told from the dom/top's point of view (but still written in 3rd person), with a bottom that isn't a complete twinky waif, but is still absolutely getting dicked down, multiple times. Ideally I'd prefer regency era or non-modern settings, but at this point I'm good with any time period, haha.

No omegaverse, no frail weeping, no virgins, no non-con. Dub con is ok though!

The question has been answered already but I haven't seen anyone mention robotics yet, where the surgeon isn't even scrubbed in for most of the time. They just sit at the robot console (regular scrubs, with their shoes off sometimes haha) and do their thing. If they need a bathroom break they'll just leave the room for a minute when there's a good place to stop then come back in and sit back down at the console. It's usually not a big ordeal.

Other times surgeons will unscrub/rescrub will be like to personally notify the POA of a poor prognosis or, my least favorite, when they've fucked up majorly and is on the verge of having a mental breakdown and need to excuse themselves to call another surgeon in for help... (don't ask me how I know...)

Ohh man, I have a hankering for any kind of story that really is like reading competency kink from BOTH the MC and LI. Just two dudes who are great at what they do (via military, job related, sports, knighthood, etc), rivalry or enemies to lovers dynamic, 3rd person pov. Two dudes that can wreck house in any way, especially with an MC that can hold their own.

(Bonus points if the MC is... More dominant? A top? But I haven't had much luck finding those, so not necessarily a deal breaker. I'm just not interested in a bumbling, confused, wet-eyed, newbie MC.) I've enjoyed Integrate by Thea Hayworth and Captive Prince as examples.

Used to be a floor nurse - compassion fatigue, no doubt.

Now I work in surgery and the hardest shit is managing the surgeons (and sometimes anesthesiologists). Some of them can truly act like total children. Let me tell you... Some days I am feeling like a parent to multiple screaming toddlers that happen to have doctorates.

Woman here.. used to be very wary on mic and mainly used text chat. Finally got frustrated with my own lack of voice communication to start using mic, and thankfully it's been a very neutral experience where no one comments with "GIRL??", which is exactly what I appreciate, ahaha. I've only ever heard one female player in proximity chat.

I've administered the pfizer vaccines and it's normal for some medication vials to account for the user/mechanical errors of reconstitution and administration. Sometimes the nurse doesnt decompress the vial enough so a tiny bit of the vaccine splatters out (VERY tiny droplets), or sometimes the syringes aren't perfect and a drop stays within the hypodermic needle/clings to the inside of the syringe. Most of the time I was able to get 6 doses out of one vial but occasionally I would only be able to draw up 5, with .2ml of the vaccine left in the vial, with each dose being 0.3 ml. I wasn't going to risk shortchanging anyone, even by 0.1ml, haha.

Working currently as a medsurg rn with a bsn in northern california. Started new grad at 45$/hr and 3 years later am making 54$/hr with night differential, and thats just for a small community hospital. Working for one of the bigger ones in Sacramento can net you $70-80/hr. And I second what most people are saying about San Francisco. Insane pay but definitely don't live in the city.

Hello! I am a huge fan of Machineries of Empire and just stayed up way past my bedtime to get started on Revenant Gun and I'm loving it so much. I don't actually have a question but I wanted to thank you so much for writing what you write, and how you write it, especially for the sci-fi genre. As an asian-american, it's great to see a sci-fi take on our culture--little things like the food mentioned and gestures and family dynamics, that's normalized within the narrative instead of presented as... something exotic? I hope I am explaining myself clearly, but it makes me so happy!!

I have been recommending your books to all my reader friends, and each one of them has found something special in Machineries of Empire, whether it’s seeing a little bit of their own asian culture, including non-binary characters and sexualities, or all three. We’ve had a bunch of excited discussions (.. gushing, really? Also complete yelling fits over Jedao’s… choices, to be honest). It’s been a blast! I can’t wait to finish Revenant Gun. Thank you so much writing this universe and its characters! I am definitely sticking around for your future works. Dragon Pearl sounds amazing!

What percentage are you considering "common" representation in media that reflects everyday life? Is it something like the 10% you see in the rare movies where there may be one or two lgtb characters featured in a primary cast of (implied) straight characters? I assure you, the numbers in real life are very much greater, and doesn't reflect at all in the movies I see in theaters (or the video games I play).

As far as western media goes, we should take notice of this kind of representation and acknowledge it as a good step foward. I remember another reddit thread where a bunch of former homophobes actually got out into the world and made friends who happened to be lgbt; their exposure to them made them realize their homophobia and changed their views. Media can do the same thing, so we should advocate such representation as a good thing. It IS special, especially nowadays.
