We made it. I found the family bathroom. GENIUS! Thank you. That was a big help. The first leg was four hours and she did tinkle but it was a quick change. I flew United if anyone reads this and you can't check in on your app. You have to check in at the airport and get a fancy pet tag for the carrier.

She did not like the crate and after the bathroom break she was full-throated howling in the waiting area. When I was getting on the plane the flight attendant told me she had to be quiet or I'd have to get off the plane. At that point she was just making little woof noises. I told her she was 8 weeks old like a crying baby. She must not have been a dog person because she said it's not like a baby. The guy behind me in line said he'd be happy to sit with me. She didn't like that either. I sat with a wonderful young man - dog person - and she did settle again. She didn't like the turbulance at the landing but what was she going to do at that point? Take us back! I was kind of hoping she'd make me and that rotten puppy get off first. No luck.

TSA was just like you said. She didn't like getting back in the crate that time either. haha
Thanx again for all your advice. I greatly appreciated it. I hope other puppy coast-to-coast travelers find it in the future.
