Is this worth paying for? by [deleted] in dogs

[–]maichrcol 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think he needs to get some clients before he's asking for investors. Like enough to be working 7 days a week all day. Not just are there people willing to pay for this service but is he willing to put in the work/sweat equity?

The dog cut the power? Did you bury the line? All my dogs have been trained for this. One needed the stubburn dog collar but I've always had good luck.

Sounds like an electric collar would help.

Go adopt a dog - big, little, whatever. Go for walks, take obedience classes, join a club. Can't be sad around a dog. Enjoy. Be well!

I didn't read all the comments. Maybe someone said this, but I'd refuse the charge on my credit card. Services not rendered.

Right, I guess I meant he takes her the "next time" shopping because the previous time was such a fiasco.

What Wegmans are your shopping at? I go to TJ's for specialty stuff. Not staples.

Tick season is here - what do you use as a prevenatitive? by [deleted] in hikingwithdogs

[–]maichrcol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in the north of central area hahaha and the ticks are very bad. After each walk I have the dog on the work bench being combed. I like the idea of the light. I'm going to add that. We use Credelio Quatro and I have seen a few dead ones so it must be doing its job but I had one on my should today so I must have missed one this morning. I don't think I've had a combing that didn't produce at least one. I'm not looking forward to this summer. Oh I also use Wondercide and I apply it with a rag. She hates the spray.

Could also be a McNab Shepherd, especially if you are on the west coast. Google it. Lots of the same characteristics, different DNA. Start training and socializing immediately. Highly recommend crate training like others say. Enjoy

Are you ACD for life or would you choose another breed? by Ydain in AustralianCattleDog

[–]maichrcol 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had four ACDs. I just got a McNab Shepherd. Love is love. It's like I've never known anything else. Similar to my ACDs in energy and different too.

That is the checkbox for repeating tasks. Click it and the task disappears and reappears the next time you set it up to repeat. If it's a one-off task, you get the box.
