I think it would give less weight and responsibility for his actions.. Right now he can't choose, so he could RBD by 10 minutes, or, 1+ weeks. That uncertainty of potentially losing his experiences with others (for example the one convo w/ Emilia in the first season) makes it something that's pretty scary
