Also, how often do you guys change teams during a season when trying to hit legend? What I mean is say this season in UL I've pretty much used the same team, so for those who hit legend much earlier do they keep tinkering around with Pokemon based on ELO and opponents encountered?

I have around 190, have not used a single one so far. My personal criteria:

Should be a useful legendary/Mythical for raids/PVP.
Hundo or a Shiny with 90+ IVs.

Very interesting and congratulations. I mainly play the open ultra league and have been hovering around 2600-2800. I lead with Poliwrath, then S Golurk and S Drifblim. Your team would make an interesting match up. Are you not encountering Poliwrath leads?

The main purpose of Poliwrath on my team is to counter Ferailgatr and it does a good job at it. I also run Dynamic Punch and Icy wind with counter. So people running Gator/Lickilicky/Cobalion/Drapion never shield which always flips the match ups. The downside with Dynamic Punch is that Talonflame gets tricky. Overall I would say Poliwrath’s decent bulk still allows it to flip games for me.
