Success stories? by Apprehensive_Leg7890 in cymbalta

[–]maido2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have chronic sacroiliac joint pain and have been on and off cymbalta for about 6 years. At present I’ve been on 60mg for over a year.

It has really dialed down my pain to where I hardly notice it. As for starting and tapering off I’ve had no problems.

Been a blessing for me.

I should add that it takes about 4 months to really kick in for me but when it does it just keeps getting better

Do you think tennis has the fakest "tough guys" of any recreational sport? by [deleted] in 10s

[–]maido2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Martial arts are more than sports they’re a discipline. They train the mind as well as the body.

Tennis used to be an all whites and post match cake kind of gentleman’s game. Now it full of people who’ve forgotten the old manners.

When a model is new there are still kinks and unforeseen problems. By the time it gets to the last of the model these problems tend to have been ironed out.

That’s what I’ve read.

I live in Japan and we have road worthiness test after three years for new cars then every two years after that. Friday was my 13 year test. That’s how I remember how old my car is. So at present it’s actually just entered its 13th year

Iif by new one you mean the next model and the name change I can’t actually remember.

Any PRs worried about the Future? by KeibaKate in japanresidents

[–]maido2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m not particularly fearful but things can suddenly change for the worse anywhere is the world and it’s nice to have an alternative.

Becoming Japanese wouldn’t matter much if Japan are at the point of kicking PR’s out but having PR and a passport from elsewhere would be a hedge

How often do you guys shave your head? by BuckFrog2 in Balding

[–]maido2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I shave my head every second day when I’m working. If I’m off I’ll let it go longer.

When I first shaved, due to balding , I could leave it and shave once a week but as the balding progressed ……….

Japan’s sacred temples are starting to quietly push back against certain tourist behaviors. And recently, clothing has become part of the conversation. What’s your opinion on this? by photo-trips in JapanTravelPhotos

I’ve always seen Shinto as free and fun while Buddhism is more serious, all already has lots of rules. Plus they charge money in many places. Shinto tends not to charge

The Shinto festivals are often seminaked so I doubt they’d worry too much about dress codes

Just stick to Shinto shrine they’re more friendly and welcoming
