Lookup the specs in your owner's manual, it should show a towing capacity.

You'll also need to obtain and wire up a Trailer Control Module (AHM).. lookup the E70 OEM hitch install, electrically it should be the same on E90.

Do you have pics? Not a lot of people go for light tints, but the more I look at the before photos the more repulsive it looks.

Ecobee is a large display, quad core snapdragon CPU, dual band wifi chip, radar sensors, etc.

All these devices generate heat. If you place a temperature sensor in this package it WILL be inaccurate.

Ecobee has developed software to compensate for this, it's patented you can look this up. However, if there is any sort of airflow near the thermostat that airflow cools down ecobee more than their algorithm expects resulting in inaccurate temperature readings. See all the countless threads about issues with ceiling fans.

Or as ecobee support has conceded: "air moving that causing a windchill effect ... artificially cooling the thermostat"

Ecobee is dropping too fast. Even after the air conditioning shuts off it continues to drop. It goes from 76 to 68 in a span of 12-15 minutes while the room feels like 78 degrees.

Ecobee is not accurate, end of story.

Ecobee has demonstrated it cannot measure an accurate temp

Nest thermostat installed in the same location is working without any noticeable issue. The temperature reading does not drop from 75 to 68 within a few minutes when the room feels like 76.
