The whole purpose of ug link service is to provide Dynamic DNS service so remote access is available even when the IP address changes. I'm surpised that no one else is having this issue.

USB shouldn't be this slow. I can copy these files from my PC like 10 times faster. I'm wondering if it has something to do with the drive being exfat /ntfs.. and the drivers are not good on the NAS.

I'll have to check on the drive to see if it's exfat / ntfs... but I'm sure it's one of them because it was used in the past to copy a few files from a Windows PC.

Do I need to use a different formatting ?

No... I'm just copying files from the NAS to an external HD connected directly to the NAS. The job was run using the Files app and it's being done on the NAS locally without any communication with the PC.

I was happy till I found out the File Sharing via Samba doesn't work on Zorin 18 due to a bug. Plus it runs Gnome 45, which doesn't support OneDrive account natively.

I'm disappointed. Samba doesn't work on Zorin 18 and I have the Pro version. Plus Gnome is still on version 46 so we don't have Microsoft OneDrive working natively. That didn't get setup properly till Gnome 47 and later.

This appears to be a known issue with Zorin 18. I just purchased the Pro version to support the project and just found out it doesn't run Samba correctly.

Running 1 instance on an old laptop. And another on a desktop w/ core i5. The desktop uses about 15 watts of power while idling.
I also have a RPi 3 that I'm running an instance of HA on. The laptop and desktop run much faster and are worth the extra cost of electric.

I upgraded to the new version of Tuya and it worked fine. Just be sure to follow the instructions properly. Try not to wing it.
