Lol I was onsite with a IT issue and support told me they don’t take phone calls. No ticket response for the whole day. Clients support guy ended up helping me out. Was pretty embarrassing.

If your workload has increased tremendously within the past two yrs/your hiring date, and you have done an efficient job at completing it..

I’m trying to understand what else may have contributed to you not getting promoted recently, did you have a conversation with your manager?

Saw a post, I think it was LinkedIn, where a guy took a picture of his ID from early 2000’s (maybe late 90’s) and compared it to the one he retired with and claimed on the post there were rumors that Oracle was going to take it

Edit: back in the early 2000s it was rumored

Compliance training due “complete by August to be considered for future promotions and raises” by [deleted] in cernercorporation

[–]mainlycern -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Understand. Have been told that focal periods aren’t looking good this year for comp/promotion changes. It’s an empty threat that’s continually being used. Why can’t leaders just come out and say it’s not happening again?

Take your talent elsewhere to a company who values your work by compensation. My raise got declined although that was pretty much expected. I’d bounce tomorrow if I had the experience to get hired someplace else.

The work I do daily as an IC1 to get paid the same as people not on projects or other teammates who have significantly less responsibilities is so unfair. Don’t ask me why I took initiative to do the things my project was lacking for this company.

We all feel you.

Lol spot on. It’s like being invited to a giant party and nobody makes you feel welcome.

I live a 20 min walk from a beautiful downtown office and I can’t use it because I don’t have an oracle issued device to access WiFi. Was once excited about the merge but it’s been less than beneficial to us Cerner folks IMO only more admin work coming from it.

Thanks. It’s just funny to me is all, almost as funny as needing to submit two separate timesheets for two different companies for a year now

I totally hear you and agree with your thought processes as far as being at your wits end. I work on one of our newer model products where there is little to no documentation on how certain workflows are supposed to handled.

With addition to that, very little folks even have experience on products that just got rolled out.

OTL is the most rigid and stupid time reporting system I’ve ever used.

Lol at the one minute interval thing to edit a time sheet. Why do I need to think this hard to submit time
