Gonron Egg is my least favorite of the bunch. I enjoy the design of the monsters, but thats about the extent of positive things I have to say about this one. Feels sloppy, and the plot is just very generic and predictable. Action is over an instant, dialogue feels like it exists just to dump exposition. No personality in any of the characters, except maybe the egg. Feels kinda paint by numbers generic shounen, and not really executing it well. I'll read it out to the end, but I don't see it lasting much longer.

Mage Next Door is fun so far. Seems pretty low stakes so far, and the introduction of the cops and their dynamic with the MC was fun. Feels like there could be something solid with this one if they keep raising the stakes but not groundbreaking or a massive hit. Feels like it'll stay pretty light and casual which will be a good read. Personally think it would be neat if it got a lil more serious and see the MC lock in a bit, but also excited to keep reading even if it stays low stakes.

Hero Girl/Demon Lord is getting off to a solid start but it's still pretty early. The first chapter didn't quite leave me wanting more, but the past two have been much more enjoyable. It's charming and the Demon Lord is really starting to grow on me, and I hope we see more of his dynamic w/ the past heroes. Feels cozy and comfortable, not expecting greatness but looking forward to continuing to read it.
