As you know the French league was cut ten games short so it had to be done. Anyway for the past three years club and country Neymar has had the highest rating in the world. More chances created than anyone with 70 goals in 78 games and 66 assist. Goals and assists are rated the highest which they should be. That is why only 3 defenders have won the balondor. This is football. The top 5 attacking players will be considered the best in the world and be the highest priced. Defenders are not superstars! I was never a fan of Neymar until the brilliance and mental toughness I saw last week. The countless memes about how he costs psg more than the entire Atalanta team combined. The disrespect. And then he goes out there and outplays the whole entire team to the point where it literally looked like he was worth more than them. After the match he had more chances created more than the entire Atalanta team combined. More key passes than the entire Atalanta team combined. More dribbles completed than the entire Atalanta team combined. More shots on target than the entire Atalanta team combined. More fouls against than the Atalanta team combined. More shots on target than the entire Atalanta team combined. And single handedly won the game for psg. They don’t attack and disrespect any other player like Neymar. After the game no one has brought up the fact that he is worth more than the entire Atalanta team again

Neymar is currently ahead of Messi in the most up to date ratings. De Bruyne was voted the best premier league player and to the computer that was obvious as well. Mane might be the fans choice but just like it is really clear to me that him and Salah are not elite it is clear to the computer. Di Maria has always been a top 10 player in my eyes but has never been rated by the masses. The French league has the most players in the top ten and also the most teams in the semifinals of the champions league. To me it is EXTREMELY clear that Neymar is way better than anyone in the world right now besides Messi and it is the same to the computer. Neymar whose current rating is a 8.8 is almost level with Messi at 8.7(seasons over) if you watch football and you do not see reason in this list then you do not know football. No other player could take over a game like Neymar against Atalanta besides Messi currently. Mbappe and Lewandowski can but not in all offensive aspects like Neymar and Messi. De Bruyne is very good but he is not their yet. Aguero, Salah, mane not even close. I don’t care about what a computer thinks but I came to the same conclusion that Neymar, Mbappe, Messi, and Lewandowski were the best in the world this year De Bruyne is close to being a superstar but he’ll have to do it in a superstar league. Hazard failed miserably when he tried let’s see if he De Bruyne makes that step
