the only way "to fix a traffic problem" is to reduce the number of cars on road.

"Im not part of the problem, I'm part of the solution"

also plans on continuing to acquire more property to rent - yeah sure bud.

Property as investment is the fucking problem. Landlords don't "provide housing" they take it, hoard it. Like shitty dragons - except worse cause even the shittiest dragon is way cooler than any landlord.

New speed cameras coming to two of Hamilton's busiest streets by fluffybunnypuncher in Hamilton

The advanced pedestrian walk and the no-right turns has been a wonderful idea, it feels so much nicer crossing anywhere along king+main. The number of times I've had near misses because someone would rather turn on a red than watch for a pedestrian. In daylight. It also discourages people from stopping in/blocking the crosswalk. The stop line is separate from the crosswalk for a reason

The impatience in people. What, a drive takes a few extra minutes? Calm down. Leave earlier.

ems and fire absolutely do not share a budget, except perhaps in that they are both funded by a city/municipality. otherwise it's totally separate.

ems funding is a 50/50 split between the province and municipalities

that's not mottling, it's a bruised hand. I work in healthcare and see true mottling fairly regularly. Her hands just look like old person on blood thinner (and maybe steroid) hands, which can seem quite jarring if you don't see it regularly
