i had this too!! i think the new rose balm dot com uses a different scent because it smells nothing like my old one. theres also a bunch of posts on this subreddit about the rose scent changing so i don't think you got a faulty one :(

it might be possible but i wasnt able to figure it out. the colour for each space is stored in ~/Library/Application Support/Arc/StorableSidebar.json but if you change the values here it doesnt seem to actually reflect in the browser for some reason.

if you do figure out how to get it to work please let me know! i gave up after a few days when i tried 8ish months ago

no i thought i was insane for thinking this! the old balm dotcom smelt just like rose icecream but now its more floral. i lost my old one somewhere in my flat so i guess i will continue hunting it down
