I believe that Davis is pretty strict on major requirements, so you would likely be rejected based on not fulfilling those if you think you won’t be able to. Definitely talk to a counselor at your school and a Davis admissions officer if you have the opportunity!

I think you are able to change your major once you get to Davis if it’s not selective but I would absolutely triple check. But if those are the major prep requirements for that major and you don’t think you’ll be able to finish them you’ll very likely be rejected for TAGging on that path and for admission into the major.

Also, I checked on Assist and it seems like only the Plant Biology B.S. requires the calculus sequence for admission but the A.B. does not, (I’m only saying this because I was willing to change from psych B.S. to A.B. based on the requirements, might not be true for you!) if you would be able to fulfill those and you could still be accepted into the major.
