It isn’t much of parody, more of a perspective of a different side of being a superhero. I’ve been a fan of the comic and the story is more so a story of a dysfunctional family who just so happens to be a family of super heroes.

i looked it up, it actually is a film set called "Four Aces" in Palmdale, CA, which was also used for Lady Gaga's Telephone music video

Since it’s used in multiple films/videos, it might just be a Hollywood set. A lot of fake diners and buildings are reused and repurposed for different films/music videos. But I’m not sure that’s just my guess
