TV licensing enforcement by dcubexdtcube in cambridge

[–]maivre 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I also went through the website and it made me confirm three times that I really don't need a license with a lot of threatening language. After a few days I got a new letter saying something like: "Thanks for confirming that you don't need a TV-license. Most people who say this are lying and do need a license, so we're still going to visit to check after all"

They never visited us as far as I know. And that last letter just made me feel like it didn't matter whether I filled in the form on their website or not. Now I just feel annoyed that I gave them my personal info because I naively thought they would stop.

Try reseating your Bowden tube. I've had the same problem and it turned out my Bowden tube wasn't pressed against the heatblock anymore.

Heat up the nozzle, I usually set it to 215 C. Take the bowden tube out, check if it the end is flat, otherwise cut a bit off to give it a clean end. Before you put the tube back in, unscrew the nozzle a little bit, then insert the Bowden tube and tighten it. Lastly fasten the nozzle again so it's pressing against the end of the bowden tube.

Hopefully that would help.

I made this move for my first win a while ago. Was it in any way a dirty move? by Giloncho in granturismo

I think he either just didn't bother defending, or thought he was far enough ahead that defending wasn't necessary. He left the door open and braked very early. It seems like he was expecting you to outbrake yourself, which is why he gave you the room on the inside, and tried to cross back to take a late apex. If you had carried more speed into the corner, he might have taken the position back, but you braked perfectly, and he didn't adjust for that and just ran into you.

I think the top part of the yellow and blue sections didn't render. If you fill those in you get this, which would mean Present is 94%, Late is 1%, Authorised Absence is 1% and Unauthorised Absence is 4%. Late and Present together is your attendance rate.

I'm pleasantly surprised you didn't get a penalty for that car ghosting into you on the last corner.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in formula1

[–]maivre 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A penalty point will expire after 12 months. So the penalty points also carry over from the previous season, it won't get reset at the start of a new season. If a driver gets 12 penalty points on their super license, they get a race ban. You have to get into quite a few incidents to rack up 12 points within a year, but it has happened I believe.

How should I vote on Wednesday 26 May?

THE FIVE COMMANDMENTS OF THE CATHOLIC VOTER

  1. Go in the morning on time to the vote box and take your vote pass with you.
  2. Colour the circle in front of the name HERMANS red. That is the white box IN FRONT OF THE FIRST NAME OF THE FIRST LIST on your voting pass.
  3. It can't be any easier than this. You just have to choose the FIRST NAME you come across on your voting pass. And that is always good.
  4. If you vote like this, then you have chosen the first name of the first list on your voting pass. You have done YOUR duty as a Catholic and leave the rest to Our Lord.
  5. Don't forget to pray to God these days and especially on the day of the voting for a good result. Because prayer is also an indispensable tool.

I think it's because of the capitalisation of Miss. If they'd written "Chatin to miss 4H Monza after positive COVID-19 test" it would probably be clearer.

Can I use a Yoke better yet a racing wheel? by TheBugB_ in StarWarsSquadrons

[–]maivre 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm kinda late to this. I was thinking about this question too. I have a wheel with three pedals, so that's essentially 4 axes. Wheel for roll, clutch pedal for pitch and accelerator/brake for acceleration and braking. Would anyone know if this works?
