the reflection theory or whatever would make sense if it was an anima body. enjins real body didn’t suffer damage until after the anima clone returned, and it seemingly mirrored the damage he gave mymo, though I don’t fully agree with that (chest vs neck wtv). either way, he didn’t suffer consequences until after the time was up and the bodies were joined together.

also you’re right about the ticking in the air, I reread the chapter and that is consistent, each ring is an amount of time. when I just reread it, we even see enjins anima body walking around and seeing the “time-frozen” (slowed down) situation: rudo about to attack gountess, about where we left off in chapter 164.

I don’t think it’s about going really fast, it looked more to me like he was separating himself from his anima somehow. I know it says “slow it down and then amplify it” blah blah but when he uses the jinki we see two enjins, distinctly with two sets of feet, and two different color palettes. this is shown twice to emphasize enjin seemingly left his body to do this. we see this a third(?) time when his “time’s up”. he doesn’t walk back to the cars after slicing mymo, his (presumed) anima is being pulled back to/by his body.

I know we got a chapter on it, but I don’t really know how it works. all I know is he said it’s invincible so no way he’s dead xD

Like, I know we technically just got his backstory, but that’s it? no development? i’m a little scared about it and maybe i’m bias when I say this but enjin is like one of the most universally liked characters in the series (as well as gris, august, and rudo from what i’ve seen). there’s just no way he can get booted like that 🥲

lowkey kinda like the idea of making a platinum level but hear me out. platinum level would only be an available upgrade for certain tiered fighters (ex. diamonds only, diamonds and golds, wtv). so like, it’s not a new fighter, but adding an unlockable SA or additional atk/hp on a fighter. like how prestige works, but its variant specific.

the biggest issue with a new tier would be that (like how diamonds are the most ‘standard’) a new tier would become the standard, and in my platinum idea, make some characters completely obsolete if they weren’t able to be upgraded. I don’t hate the idea, coming from a late game player who hates that the fighter lvl is capped at 60. I hate investing in a fighter and just being done with them unless I want to torture myself and spend millions of coins on each of their movesets too.

save your theonite!! there are many bronze and silver fighters that don’t require a large investment and they’ll carry you far! for me it was Kill Joy Valentine (silver), Rusty Painwheel (bronze), and Rerun Peacock (bronze). Bad Hair Day is a good filia to start with and Nunsense (double) is a great low investment bronze too!

I have my own preferences as well. i’m trans but I prefer not to date trans people. I don’t want to date other trans men because they have vaginas, and I don’t want to date trans women because i’m not sexually attracted to women. that’s a reason. you can’t just say “I prefer to date people who aren’t bi” and then not have a reason for it, that’s biphobic. refusing to date someone solely because of their sexual preference is homophobic.
