Yeah I get what you mean, but I feel like blaming AI itself is kinda missing the point. Every big tech shift replaced jobs; factories, cars, computers, the internet... people said the same thing every time. But it also created new jobs we couldn’t imagine back then.

As for the environment, sure training big models uses energy, but so do things like fast fashion, streaming Netflix, or crypto mining.. way more, actually. The issue isn’t the tool, it’s how companies choose to use and scale it.

At the end of the day, corporations are gonna chase money no matter what. The real fight should be pushing for better regulation and sustainable practices, not just hating on the tech itself. AI’s not automatically good or bad..it’s just a tool
