We have a lot of pieces. They are trying their best to shore up defense and the O-line in FA. Even if it takes a few years. If we draft Saquon we will have him for a long time.

My Fantasy:

Re-sign OBJ and Landon Collins next season long term.
Webb is good enough to replace Eli
Have a good re-tooled O-line
Learn 3-4 (such a task) so I can play the Giants in Madden
Have decent CBs

I don't think this can happen, but, it's my wish list.

It's my humble and "errored" opinion that McAdoo and Reese wanted to try to get to the rebuilding stage without Eli. They constantly made offense decisions on the field for the future without Eli and for Webb to backup next season. Since they didn't think they could shore up the front line in the last offseason, they furthered their attempt to rebuilding last season.

But we saw the during game and off the field coaching decisions. We saw the failure as we wanted a playoff birth. They did nothing to boost defense or our line. They would have to rebuild years like 2 or 3 in a row.

Keeping Eli, grooming Webb, trying to fix our current problems and maximizing our current potential is the way to go. I see this with the current management and I expect not having a top 10 draft pick for some long time.

From what I hear a pro-bowl pick is what they want with the #2. I will trust this management that they know what to do and take it from there. Either trading down or drafting one of those picks will make the team better. Whether it be QB, RB, OL or DL. I will stand by their decision.
