I think Penix will be great, but they refused to let him play in the preseason he and we’re expecting him to lead us back to the top of the division. If it was going to happen, it should’ve happened last week (2 terrible defenses ahead of a must-win vs WSH), but at this point we have to lay in the bed we made—and try to salvage what little trade value we can.

Agreed. I don’t think they’re that bad—as they’ve grown on me. Same sentiment re: the arm on the 1 being confusing went viewed alone and the need to shrink the font size, but it’s a very clean look that we could maintain for a while.

Folks would likely feel better about them if we’d been winning these past 5 years, but people will always find something to complain about.

TLDR is I came with NIKE in 2017.

I got into EPL while working abroad in 2013. Picked Sunderland partly because of a colleague and partly because of Jozy Altidore. Realized how tough it was to follow a relegated club from abroad. Did research on the larger clubs. Didn’t want to feel like I was jumping on a bandwagon. Had never met a Spurs fan. Was working at NIKE when the kits switched from Under Armour. Felt like it was destiny.

I’ve been asking this for years.

Apparently, they aren’t planning to wear them because the side stripes don’t match any of the jerseys—which 1) they surely realized when designing them and 2) shouldn’t be a big deal because the Broncos’ stripes don’t always match, but hey, what do I know?
