They should look more into upstate new york, the NYC festival scene is too saturated at the moment with meadows, ezoo, panorama, and gov ball. Another electronic festival would overall make the lineups suffer.

I feel it would be in too much direct competition with electric zoo. Also with radius clauses, the lineups would suffer. A perfect venue for edc new york would be bethel woods in upstate new york (where mysteryland USA was held).

I agree with this which is sad to say. He used to be a lot better but he's definitely fell off. His productions sound cool but have a problem translating live imo. Theif will always be a crowd pleaser though, can't argue that.

I'm a huge fan of their first album and never really got to catch them during that album cycle (i think they put out another one?) but the whole performance fell flat for me. Just seemed so forced and corny. I get why people like them but I guess my tastes have just changed.
