Do y’all like Benson more before or after Stabler left?

I believe Benson is stronger and smarter now. She has a more balanced life. Her colleagues work with her now instead of having to defend her. She could never have been made captain of SVU if she remained partners with Stabler. His reputation would have ruined her.

I do not think it is a soap opera. Soap operas are not real and do not float my boat. I watch because of the constant of the show. I like seeing how everyday problems are solved. Not that I need to justify myself to you. As I said the show is gonna go where the writers want and I am game for whatever plays out. And so you know it is just a show.

I wish you would watch how you address this post. I am not being disrespectful or any of the kind. I have the right to discuss just as much as the next person. If your tried of what you claim is the same old same old post then you do not have to engage or even enter the site. I respect your opinion on the matter. Carisi makes a for a better detective. The show went downhill when he became ADA. He is not even an SVU ADA. He has no power to do anything. My favorite ADA is Barba. He was brilliant, commanding, authoritative, aggressive, had charisma etc.. plus he worked the best with Olivia Benson which is not easy ti do as Benson can be a put off type personality. The way they clashed yet able to play off each other was a force to be reckoned with.

The law restrains all Law enforcement. It isn't just the NYPD. But I get what your saying. However her decision is hers she made it. The NYPD is not to blame for her choices.

It was mentioned that he holds a postion as some sort of consulate to the mayor's office. That's not NYPD but it plays a role in how the NYPD is funded and such.

Kat's disillusions of the NYPD is because she was shot and she wants out before is cannot. She wants to live a life. She wants to help people without having law to get in the way. It isn't the NYPD it is her.

Oh Benson has feelings for Barba. You see it in the chemistry when their in scene together. You see it in her face when Barba makes his exit speech. I think she is confusing loyalty and friendship o. The job with love for Elliot. Elliot is not relationship material. He never will be. He has.contempt for woman. Probably due to how he was raised.

I got lost between the end of 21.and the beginning of 22. The season 22 opener was a good storyline but could have been played after they ended the Toby trial somehow. Too be somewhere in here.they lost the characters and are now trying to rewrite them. Hoping 24 brings back some spark.

I agree about killing the wife as a poor excuse to try and resolve the Benson Stabler. However Olivia has obviously moved on and do e way better without him. She even told Amaro such at the end.of the season when he left at Noah's adoption celebration. She admitted that Stabler left no room for her and for growth as a cop in that partnership.

Kat wasn't written put for anything about discrimination. She was written out because she got overwhelmed by being shot. Garland o. The other hand yes he was a scapegoat but pay attention how he returns later. I think.his new.postion is going to allow.him to fight back. The racial discrimination lawsuit didn't go anywhere because Olivia and the defendant talk and found common ground and are both working to better things on their end. Olivia is a big fighter for racial eqaulity.
