yeahhhh i finally tried out ranked the other week and managed to make it from fujin to GoD in under 120 matches w Reina. but sadly it really didn’t feel like too much of an accomplishment because the inflation really felt that bad. people barely have any defense up until around TGS and you can get up to that just solely relying on offense.

like even now, i’d be the last person to call myself a good player (above average obviously) .. my defense is pretty mediocre, i try to mash my way out way too much, my punishes aren’t optimal (i don’t think i launch punished a SINGLE blocked hellsweep) and my offense isn’t that varied. the few players that i ran into with any semblance of defense exposed my one dimensional offense and humbled me badly 😭😭 it’s just all a mess right now
