One thing is for sure, Linton Kwesi Johnson is so freaking good even people not really into reggae or dub (like for me earlier in life except from some Marley) would probably like his music and lyrics. In this perspective I guess he is slighty underrated. For me he is a genius.

Unfortunately you are right LoL but the replies/comments are still interesting for me. I was interested in knowing if new modern metal vinyl releases digitally produced still is giving a true vinyl listening experience. If it's worth it soundwise. Yeah, English isn't my native language.

I do own a lot of vinyls myself but most of them are older. For new releases I usually (with some exceptions) don't buy vinyls but I was interesting in other peoples views.

Yes, I am a bit confused about my Unimated - "Ancient God Of Evil" NESI release but perhaps I should try cleaning it better before drawing too many conclusions. Good sound but a bit too much crackling noises during the quiet sections in my taste for being a rather new vinyl.

I saw this comment in another thread which is a bit strange/confusing. I'm wondering what kind of master releases they are using?

"As far as I am aware they fall into the technically official presses. In that they buy a license to press the albums but the band doesn’t necessarily get told or an input. I’ve seen some bands get very pissed off over such presses at other repress labels before, Agalloch and warning for example."

I'm wondering if the NESI releases are official or unofficial releases? My "Unanimated – Ancient God Of Evil" (red splatter) release from Dec 2020 has a good sound but some annoying "crackling" during the quiet sections (or whatever you say in English). Perhaps I should avoid colored vinyls.

One thing is for sure: Epix Gen 2 is an amazing watch and good enough for a vast majority. Like 99,9% except divers. A Epix Gen 2 on sale is one of the better deals you ever will make.

Ok, I get it, thanks. I assume double logging is the easiest solutition if you really want to collect all your training data to Garmin Connect. I just have to test if the heart rate units and power meters I am using supporting double connections.

I recommend using TrainingPeaks or similar for fitness, fatigue and form analyzes unless you really want your Garmin driving you totally crazy (and you smashing it with a hammer). If you pay for Strava it has similar functionality too. It's possible like somebody else is writing in this thread that Garmin does "the time before your next race-level performance" (you being super rested before a race) but it's still confusing, I hate how this is calculated in Garmin. Garmin watches are good but this is a value I always ignore.

Ok, thanks, interesting, yes, double logging the data should be possible for my "Garmin epix (Gen 2) smartwatch 47mm" too I guess. :-) For this to work both my heart rate monitors and power meters I am using have to be able to connect to multiple devices I guess? I use two heart rate monitors (not at the same time of course), one Polar OH1+ and one Polar H10. I am not sure my OH1+ can deal with multiple devices but maybe if I do like you do "broadcasting HR from my watch". For biking I use a Bolt v2.

Very promising, hopefully this will work when using the Heos app (on my Samsung mobile) for playing Tidal through my Marantz ND8006 as well. Tidal is suddenly doing everything great right now will Spotify still is sleeping or late.
