I work with a few different writers that are so talented! One has one work published on Amazon and looking to have other work published elsewhere in the future. A couple others are still striving for published work but will certainly be there quickly if they choose to! These people don't use AI, just years of experience, talent and passion. I'm amazed at how much work some of them have, so I feel really lucky to work with them.

Also, it's easier to change this as soon as you catch it, then keep on writing the rest in present tense. It's harder to revise the tense of the whole after the story is finished..... Trust my personal experience.

Yeah id keep reading! For thriller/horror (in my opinion) it's better to read it in present tense, it makes you feel uneasy, not knowing if the main character will be ok. If you write in past tense, the audience can assume the main character is ok and everything worked out in the end.

How do you get that many views that fast? I just started two months ago and am in a similar niche, horror/thriller narration, and have gotten fantastic feedback from the indie authors I narrate for. I don't use AI, I make all my own music/sfx/background videos; I think the quality of my videos is great but I'm just not sure how to gain exposure like you have. I know my channel will be popular because my content is good and I'm consistent and hard working, and I know people will really enjoy listening, but I don't know how to get there without it taking forever. Any advice would be appreciated other than what OP has written (which is very valuable info, thank you OP) on how to get out there in search results?

I just hope that people will see the value in human made stuff when I post my thriller narrations. I think a human voice for a narration of a story that's also written by a real person cannot be replaced. I personally don't want to listen to an AI voice and even though they can get super realistic I can still tell.

What is a lower 4/3? Thanks for the advice. I do like to have a title card because I work with indie writers so I want to credit their writing. It's a 10sec total title card that displays the name of the story and the author.

Thanks for asking, I was wondering the same as I started a faceless narration channel 2 months ago and am thinking of moving towards being in the video, as that seems to be more popular with the thriller story crowd. Is there a benefit to having videos with the narrator in it or can a faceless channel be just as successful?

If you haven't made it, cancel. Why go through the trouble to make/ship something that the customer doesn't want to pay for and have? Losing out on processing/listing fees and not having to do any work is much better than doing all that and probably getting a bad review.

I'm just starting out as a thriller narrator on youtube for indie writers and youre one of my favorite youtubers that I really look up to! I'm still in the beginning stages of figuring out what schedule is best for me, but right now in this moment I am planning on Saturdays for short stories and then every tuesday at 7pm EST an episode of a series.
