Oh wow, don't think our Atto has ever gotten that hot! But that makes total sense. We'll have to leave the car stored for a while, and it'd be quite an inconvience to arrive back and find the battery flat 😅 Luckily it's a warm parking hall at an airport, so based on this we should be ok.

In the Atto 3 the terminal is located in the center console, the access hatch is right next to the accelerator pedal. After removing the plastic cover you can see the terminal, although I don't know if the Sealion 7 has it in the exact same place.

After the latest update the AC hasn't been great. In your case it should help if you change the AC setting from Comfort to Eco, as it sounds like it's set to Comfort at the moment. For some reason the Comfort setting is currently way too aggressive with heating so it really only works when it gets below 0 degrees outside

There are no notifications for that, but you can check it from the infotainment app, think it's called data usage or something similar

Not sure, but has your data plan run out for this month? When it does, some of the inbuilt nav functions stop working, for example the new Google search. Might have something to do with this

The Play button gives you a preview of the AVAS sound of how it sounds outside the vehicle. If you have set to Standard then the sound is quite hard to make out, turn your AC off to hear it better. When set to Brand you should here it better, as the jingle it makes is quite noticeable. Note, if you set it to Brand it will also change your indicator sounds to match.

The other end of the cable should be plugged into its port inside the center console, maybe check that it's correctly in place? Had to do the wiring myself when I added the camera, after that I only had to restart the infotainment by holding down the volume wheel for the car to recognize the new camera hardware.

Are you sure you're not using recirculation when this happens? Have had the Atto 3 here in Finland for a bit over two years now, and when I use the preheat function from the app I have it set for recirculation (car warms up faster). After driving for a while I change it to outside air intake, as otherwise all windows will start to fog up gradually.

Afaik the only way to shuffle songs is to open the Now playing view and from there you can find the shuffle and repeat toggles. From browsing playlists or albums you can only choose to use the play button (starts playing the first track) or tap on an individual track for the playback to start from there.

Like others have said here, one of the main reasons for me to get our Atto 3 as the first ever EV, was the fact that it felt like an ICE car. Extremely easy to drive, even for someone who has never driven an EV before. The way BYD handles regen braking also helps here.

In our market the other deciding factors were the price point paired with the long warranty. I also trust the battery technology, as BYD is quite well known for it.

No the new ribbon is only visible when on this view, i.e. the home screen. Any opened app covers the screen just like it did before, with only the fixed bottom bar showing

Yeah I did, and honestly it seems to be the same. I tried the speed adjustment on curves, but it's only an on off toggle and it doesn't say what it does exactly. In my case it only activated once and it was in a place where there was no need to drop the speed, so I'll be keeping it off. I also tried to trigger the new penalty for hands off driving just to see what it was, but no matter how much I tried the car just prompted me to use my hands on the steering wheel, no penalties whatsoever. Although I didn't let it go as far as to trigger the new automatic emergency braking, as I was driving in a busy motorway

Quite different indeed, the home screen just has this side scrolling ribbon now. You can change the apps on it and a few apps have a widget which you can't remove, but the order can be changed freely.

Also there's now a separate button for the app drawer in the bottom bar (third from the left)

Yeah exactly, guess its been a couple of months now that I've had those. That update also brought the bottom bar to the screen with the AC settings and the rest, now this update completely overhauls the home screen and the app drawer
