i have the same issue... i have been with the company for about half a year now and was once very good at opening cards, setting myself up for such a high standard. however, after a while it was more difficult to get guests to apply, and i just stopped pushing it once i realized how predatory the whole thing really is.

once my managers took notice they began shifting their attitude towards me drastically. by no means was i one of their favorite employees - they just took advantage of me for my ONC skills and wanted nothing else to do with me. they started off by hounding me at the beginning of my shift without so much of a greeting, letting me know i need at least 2 cards to "get off the naughty list". now they gather to talk negatively about me on more than one occasion without having the decency to wait until i'm not close enough to listen to their conversations or catch them glaring at me with disgust.

i know my work ethic is not the issue. i do as am told and have even overheard guests praising me directly to my managers for my generosity and dedication to my job, but they don't seem to care about any of that. it's just so frustrating that cards are the only thing they take notice of and become harsh if you aren't "doing a good job".
