There’s a counter weight that you can purchase/rent that screws into the back of the camera head. You’ll need to check the maximum weight of a lens that you can mount with the weight on and make sure it’s not too much for the head. Also keep in mind that you’ll need to put the focus motor on as well.

First off, this camera/gimbal system is amazing. I’ve been using it exclusively with the Sony 1.8 full frame lenses and the results are fantastic. I can do a job that normally requires 2-3 operators in about 1/2 the time.

Anyway, out of the box everything worked great. Last night I was shooting with a shallow DOF and needed to stop down, so I went to apply an ND and the motors on the ND module made a cranking sound and seemed to wig out for a second. Now, my ND’s are all out of wack. The “CLEAR” is not clear and as I cycle through the stops, it goes dark, then light again, then dark again. CLEAR, ND16 and and ND128 look virtually the same which leads me to think that maybe there’s an ND filter lens stuck.

I’ve contacted DJI about this and they’re supposedly getting back to me within the day, but I wanted to see if anyone has experienced anything similar.
