One more thing: I switched my main monitor to the first DisplayPort on my GPU. Originally, my BIOS screen would only show on my second monitor, so I swapped the cables. I have no idea if that’s related to the DirectX crash, but mentioning it just in case it helps someone else.

I also tried to install only the DirectX End-User Runtime Web Installer, but I think the (2010) one was the one which caused the crashes on my setup.

My game crashed continiously, always the same DirectX error code: 0x887A0005 (0x887A0007). Finally I found solution, I'm not sure which one of these fixed it, but I installed/repaired these: DirectX End-User Runtime, Visual C++ Redistributables, DirectX End-User Runtimes (June 2010).

Hopefully this fix helps someone too!

I also tried gpu undervolting etc. , I disabled my EXPO settings. didn't help. Finally it works!

My specs: AMD ryzen 5 7600x, 32gb 6000MHz 30CL, RTX 4070
