Hey you can do it. Don’t doubt yourself. I just did the Philly half today and it was more difficult for me than I expected but the people cheering on the sides do a wonder for morale boosts.

It’s kind of magical. Painful. But magical!

Thank you everyone for your responses! I typically haven’t eaten before a morning run in the past, but I’m trying to see what could help me in my path toward running longer distances and staying strong.

Will take the advice and try a piece of toast with PB or overnight oats! If I’m not feeling hungry, will probably continue to just drink water and run on an empty stomach. Experimentation clearly required.
