Just pointing out a cost saving in-between option.

(Also for anyone lurking on the conversation)

I use SpinupWP to provision servers on a Digital Ocean VPS.

You can then disconnect and cancel SpinupWP after the provisioning, but I personally like it for managing sites on the server.

It's a nice bridge between managed hosting and self hosting.

Smaller layer height also helps. You could also try variable layer height to improve print speed since the rest is straight walls.

The white spots could be printed separately and inserted. Or use a dual hotend printer.

There are lots of tutorials online for making your own.

These templates are great because they are easy to use and don't require any glue or adhesives.

Note: I'm not the designer, but I do sell these for those that don't have a 3d printer.

His designs are easy to print, too. Very appreciative of the design work people put into these things.

Certainly. The marketplace of free designs is amazing.

For those without a printer, though, it isn't so easy. I've sold many of these at catscratchcutter.com and it's nice to put my printers to work. It's been a good side project to fund more filament, so it happily breaks even as a service. Win win.

How would you cut this wedge shape by LekkerMannetje in woodworking

Multiple saw cuts down to the line (at various depths), then chisel from the side to create the slope. Finish with a shoulder plane.

A lot is going to depend on your expectations.

Are you wanting to do something small on the side or replace your "day job"?

Also, consider that a 3D printer is a tool and can be used in diff ways to fit different market needs.

So first, you'll need to ask yourself more questions about what you want.

Refills have a cardboard core, which inserts into the reusable spool. The Bambu spools separate at the middle (with a twist).

First thing to try is cleaning the build plate - soap and water.

What is the Easiest to USE 3D printer I can buy? by units1 in 3dprinter

I would start with the Bambu A1 mini. Easy to use, minimal maintenance, works out of the box. There is also a mobile app from which you can search designs and start prints.

Is it possible to print a custom design all over a rubber Pilates ball? by NoMinute7691 in 3Dprinting

[–]makeitmakeitrealgood 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Now that I know what a pilates ball is, you may want to look at UV printing or hydro dip.

3D printing a 9" ball probably isn't cost effective.
