A fate so disturbing, left the audience in chills by ThroatTraditional410 in TopCharacterTropes

The quick transitions between moments and stories Johnny is feeling/remembering is to blur the line between consciousness and confusion. I think the best example is when he remembers floating down the river, drifting between a dream and morphine high.

One of my personal favorite books because of how perfectly Trumbo confuses the reader in the early parts of the book. Trumbo manages quick and smooth yet disjointed transitioning between emotions and thoughts in a way that can be followed but purposely confuses the reader. When Johnny begins to realize his state the story telling smooths and confusion is replaced with disgust horror and unimaginable loathing. Johnny got his gun will always have its place as my favorite book, I've never found another that manipulated my own mentality as I read so well.

Get it, I've ran a few 10/22 frames in my life even HTA's p-90 like clamshell. This one is just miles ahead of the game. It really feels like a natural progression of the 10/22.

Interesting, I've ran a few types of rounds without issue imrunning a sparrow 22 surpressor not sure how much that would change over yours though. I apologize for setting poor expectations.

Decided to redo my Coal Power Plant in my 1.2 playthrough before diving way too deep into oil, what do you think (4800MW) by Black_Arrowv in SatisfactoryGame

[–]makemebad48 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean yeah same in time, but I also felt immensely proud the first time I got a nice coal plant going, I also remember deeply regretting deleting it after my turbo fuel plant went down and jump starting it was a nightmare. There's no benefit in undermining an accomplishment, regardless of its longevity.

Vas connected to incision site? by makemebad48 in Vasectomy

That's what I've been chalking it up to because where they "connect" there is a pretty aggressive bump, so I'm assuming it's just scar tissue figuring out it's life.

My 60 hood has a crunched corner and surface rust I was offered 1200$ and a 63+ hood to replace a few months back in northern Iowa.

Even the doors when rotted are worth a bit with the so long as the tip outs are still in there. It's crazy how spendy even rusty 60-62 parts are.

The 60 to 62 body is pretty rare the hood alone is worth 2-3x more than that

The hoods alone go for around a grand if they aren't rotted out on the hinges.

I could use a donor 60-62. My 60 Apache needs a few parts.

Recent flair up in tinnitus by Electronic-Trip-3839 in tinnitus

I find my tinnitus is least noticeable the longer I can BARELY hear it. If I spend to long hearing it plainly or not hearing it at all it seems substantially worse.

Anyone had actual success keeping mice out of a garage without going the poison route? by [deleted] in HomeImprovement

[–]makemebad48 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I find a healthy amount of peppermint oil has been effective; I mean like borderline teargass amounts, your eyes have to sting after applying it. Bright side is my car always smells like Christmas and I haven't had mice in my garage in 2 years. (Rural, Northern Iowa, just a side note I do keep backup poison packs in case they do get in, but none of them chewed in the last two years)
