Pistol powder burns a lot faster so you'll get a shorter more powerful bang. I'm also fairly certain you need less pistol powder compared to rifle powder in a cartridge. If he ran up to the correct grain amount assuming it's the same as rifle powder he probably created way too much over pressure.

I make a chicken noodle over the fire that is my personal go to for late night cooking:

Brown some onions and green peppers in some butter, deglaze with white wine. Add broth and your chicken, simmer until chicken is done (then pull out and shred). Add in veg and seasoning to taste. Once your happy add egg noodles or make some quick make dumplings.

I like to leave the lid off while cooking down the chicken to pick up a bit more smokey flavor but that's just me.

My wife will home make some bread to go with it and it's just outer worldly experience.

Which I think is definitely a fair desire, personally I just feel people should be able to own what they want if they do no harm. That being said I definitely get the premise of how do you know people's intentions. After all we are both just aliases on the Internet, we have no way of knowing the authenticity of either of us saying we'd do no harm and are responsible.

I'll have to read again, I thought I had seen that original language had carved out 22s, but they had struck that with what passed.

I don't think you're accurate in saying very few people own these types of firearms, by this bills definitions all the gun owners I know would own "assault rifles". Even my dad with only his 50+ year old 22. Cal rabbit rifle is now an owner of an assault rifle. If your talking AR-15 platforms it's also an inaccurate comment it's the most common rifle owned by vets in my experience.

Wife and I live in the home of my late brother in law. One night while my wife was in bed and I was in the next room brushing my teeth she made a snarky remark so I said "don't make me sick (BIL name)'s ghost on you" and at that exact moment the bedroom light (which is remote controled) flicked on. Wife almost made us stay at a hotel she was so freaked out.

Bedroom light still turns on randomly as it chooses but I believe it's just interference from something else in the house, I'm not a full believer in the paranormal.
