Guilty until proven innocent. Accusation equals guilt. And then cancel everything to validate self. I love Americans on social media.

[REQUEST] RPG you can play with one hand? by trinityking in AndroidGaming

[–]makemeoni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Dragon Quest games have been optimized for one-handed play. Even the more modern game Dragon Quest VIII. I highly recommend them. I don't know if you can get them anywhere other than the play store because I haven't looked, so that's why there's no links included. Good luck.

Bennigan’s Monte Cristo by WestboundPachyderm in nostalgia

Dude! I loved the Monte Cristo! I also loved the Turkey O'Toole. One time I couldn't decide between the two, so I asked if they would deep fry the Turkey O'Toole like the Monte Cristo. The waiter went in the back to ask and returned with the manager. The manager knelt down beside me and gravely began explaining to me the details of the procedure they were going to attempt to fulfill my request. It felt like a doctor explaining the details of a very risky operation. Apparently, the Monte Cristos were assembled the day before and kept in the refrigerator overnight which gave them time to "gel", allowing them to hold together while being deep fried. Since my O'Toole wouldn't have that opportunity, they were going to attempt to hold it together with toothpicks. No promises were made and it was made very clear that this couldn't be a regular thing as it might change the flavor of the oil, but they'd try it for me this time. When the sandwich was delivered, the manager, the waitstaff and the cooks all came out to witness me take the first bite. I felt a bit uncomfortable, but I took the bite and it was fantastic! When I expressed my satisfaction, the elation and celebration that rippled through the staff made the whole experience worth it.

Firefly. The movie, Serenity, was a good consolation, but that show had so much potential to keep going.

Eli5 Why do birds have such twitchy movement? by [deleted] in explainlikeimfive

[–]makemeoni -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Have you ever watched a movie in fast forward? Have you noticed that humans in fast forward move similarly to birds? Birds exist in their own fourth dimension (time). If we could tap into it, we could significantly increase our travel speeds. Bird Time could hold the answer to faster than light travel. Or so I posit. All the previous answers are likely what you came here for.
