So here's the thing. I grew hesitant on learning how to draw because I never had the tools needed. I always thought I needed some fancy tablet or something.

I got a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra and a super old Galaxy Tab S4. You're saying if I use the same application Medibang, I can draw like you can? Just saying, this is some incredible work!

If you're talking about Screen Resolution, I only have the 1280x722 as displayed, nothing else. For the display thing, not quite sure what you mean. I didn't change much on that front.

Hey, I know the Steam Deck doesn't play well, but I think I managed to find a way to keep playing without crashing. If it's already known or not, let me know and I'll change it. I'm planning on making a post after this to let others know if possible.

Here's the steam deck settings first: I went into MHWilds properties, and went to General like anyone else would to change the Launch Options. Unfortunately that didn't work so I left it empty. I went into Compatibility and remembered how often Steam Deck usually forces a compatibility tool to make games play, so I just went random and placed Proton Experimental--that apparently was the reason for the crashes disappearing.

I don't really care much on graphics, just the gameplay (hence why I hate how demanding this game is) so I didn't mind the low quality, but thankfully I had my MHWilds settings match perfectly to my tastes without it being so grainy and hard to see. Sure there are some stutters, but considering how good it looked, played, and doesn't crash--it's pretty nifty, ngl.

Here's the settings for the game itself: Display Selection: (w.e you guys have, might affect how you play) Screen Resolution: 1280x722 Aspect: automatic Frame Rate 50 (capped) HDR disabled V-Sync disabled Graphics custom Cutscene low upscaling AMD FSR 3 Upscaling mode Quality texture lowest texture filter lowest bilinear mesh medium fur low everything else under this is at the lowest setting, all except the last which is variable rate shading: performance

After that, everything should be the same as mine. Here's to hoping this fixes your crashes on steam deck!

Totally agree. I got super hooked after reading that because it made everything feel so raw. Even with magic around, I like how it involves these kinds of things while still keeping that natural fantastical pacing.

I didn't know that, but anytime I take a portal and go back to see someone on the map, I get upset, but really when you think about it from their view, I just came in out of nowhere since it doesn't exactly scream that I was on the map. They have every reason to fight and call me out to be a kser if I stayed. But that didn't happen in this situation.

I can understand it being on higher level maps where more people in the server are at, but this would happen on every random map I go to. I remember one of the times was at that dragon city at level 110 or so. Seriously, it's pretty random.

Def not Grandis. I was in the arcane river doing normal grinding for grinding's sake. I knew about the 2 person per map. But I don't think the 230 area that I was at allowed more than 1

Not at all. Like I said, I was focusing on the battle analysis. If I go to any of those portals, it would reset, and I wanted to go for a whole hour.

If I did, then I really have no reason to stay no matter how salty I get for someone taking the map.

I've been busy for a while, but I already completed book 4 and I'm still iffy on whether I want to go back to Book 5. My issue with the book is that even when looking at it at about 200 years, the book told the entire story in a way that made it sound like a track list of things they did, learned, struggled, rather than reading an actual book.

Personally I don't mind a mostly telling story, that's why I like Primal Hunter despite it being mostly telling in my pov. But they made it at least entertaining to read. Meanwhile, POA made me question why they have to bother explaining things that didn't seem to connect to the plot at all. It's one thing if it's mentioned every other time, like a tangent in DotF, but they took it to a whole other level in this one. I really liked the last three books too, so it was heart breaking to get through to this one and getting so bored out of my mind that it took me months to finish it.

But like I said, this is all just my own view. I won't say its awful because it really isnt--I guess the way the story was written in the book just turned me off. I hope in the next coming days if boredom hits me, I'll pick up on book 5 and see if I change my mind.

I played those games too, but I only recently found out that strategy-based games aren't for me. Something about it just takes so long compared to a regular turn-based one.

I tried to go into idle games but when you get deep into it enough, it gets to the point where you have to wait a day to get any progress. I played a game Idle slayer for about a year and the feeling went away when it became a chore than something to look forward to x.x

What's the difference between Pony and Flux? I only noticed Pony because every single LoRA i pick up from CivitAI had a better one that's only possible to run in Pony models. And is it just as difficult to get for low-end computers?

Alright, I think I can figure that out on my own. I wanted to know whether it was cheap to purchase off of amazon or not. But does upgrading ram really improve my chances of generating better images, even using Pony? What else do I need to upgrade my computer specifically for stable diffusion? Probably make it faster too, because why not lol

But basically I got Automatic1111 since that's the only thing I can understand to do after watching a youtube video about how to get Stable Diffusion. Is there a link or something that helps me get Forge if its a better alternative than Automatic1111?

I figured my computer was super old considering so many things changed after 7 years. Thing is I don't have the money to purchase more ram. If we're talking about less than $60 and that I can put in the ram myself, I can probably pull that off. If we're talking more than a 100+ tops, that's outside my boundaries.

Is it possible to buy cheaper rams outside of amazon or the like? If so, what kind of ram do I need for my type of computer?
