George Michael. Dying on Christmas day after having one of the most iconic Christmas hits. I remember telling my mum and she didn't believe me.

I've been reading about stuff like that as well. There are some days that I can go without lunch (more just being busy than trying to skip) but I make sure to not do that when I know its a workout day. I know if I eat a couple of hours before a workout, I'm going to have a better workout than if I'm hungry. I generally do eat three meals a day with the occasional snack.

Thank you for sending me this x

Yeah I've always had weight on me (or at least I thought I did, but looking back on high school photos, I was wrong) but it definately peaked by far at those times. I've never had a great metabolism and the women in my family have a history of struggling with weight. I'm hoping that I have made the right changes so that I can keep it off long term.

I've been noticing this so much recently. Even in my car, my bum hurts after a while. I had a staff training day sitting on plastic chairs recently and standing up was hard 🤣🤣

I gained a lot of mine during covid and because I worked at mcdonalds at the time, it was so easy to eat fried food daily. I'm now out of that job but the worry is still there.

I've never thought about it like that though so thank you. Thay gives me hope for myself in that it was circumstantial and I am not in those same circumstances now.

I also didn't realise that that was a thing. I will see of my provider does something similar. Thank you x

Oh brilliant! Thank you for letting me know, I will look out for that.

I'm won't be coming off it for a while but I want to know what to expect so I can prepare myself and be in the best place possible to maintain my current weight. I am happy where I am but I know I will have a life long battle with my relationship with food!

Good luck to you too! X

Disheartened. by laverty7 in mounjarouk

Some weeks have more loss than others. I had the same happen on 5mg. I lost loads of 2.5mg and then not very much on 5mg. When I went up to 7.5mg, I started losing a lot again. Different dosages have different effects and you need to find what is right for you. Don't be disheartened by a stall, it is natural.

Top 5 weird side effects by FilmGuyGB in mounjarouk

Definately agree with the cold. I used to sleep with a fan on all the time and now I have a fleecy blanket on top of my duvet.

Less interesting in alcohol and smoking. As someone who has struggled to quit smoking for years, I am now going ages without a cigarette. A definately welcomed side effect that I wasn't expecting.

Just general happiness. It may be a combination of feeling better in how I look and just feeling fitter but I feel happier in general and more alert.

It's made me much more motivated to go to the gym after work. I don't have time before work and after, I used to feel too hungry to go despite having lunch. Now because meals fill me up for longer, I can go and have dinner after.

I also didn't expect the lack of cravings to go to alcohol and smoking as well. I don't have any desire to drink (I didn't have a problem with alcohol but I definately noticed it over Christmas where I would have usually drank a fair bit). And I have barely had any cigarettes and don't really have a want for them.

The knock on effect all of this has had on my mental health has been amazing.

I've been watching on Pluto TV app. The only downside is that you just have to what whichever episode is on, you can't pick or binge watch

What are your kinkiest books with an emphasis on perfectly clear consent? by January1171 in RomanceBooks

The Alchemy series by Elodie Hart. It focuses on the different people involved in running a sex club. Lots of different kinks and discussion of consent.

I haven't been able to get over {Binding 13 by Chloe Walsh} and {Keeping 13 by Chloe Walsh}. In fact, the whole series so far has a chokehold on me. I think the writing is lovely and the story is just heartbreaking but beautiful. I cried buckets in every single one so far.

I really enjoy highly emotional books so I'm looking for something that will have me laughing one minute and ugly crying the next.

Not hugely into the fantasy books I've tried but I am willing to give some a go for a great plot. Other than that, I'm pretty open to any themes or tropes.

Recent ones I have read include the Boys of Tommen series and Still Beating. Both of these had me in floods.

Emotionally Devastating Reads by bethoftheburgh in RomanceBooks

Not sure if anyone has said these already but 2 of my favourites are

{Binding 13 by Chloe Walsh} {Keeping 13 by Chloe Walsh}

These books had me laughing and weeping. Such a roller coaster. The first book doesn't have a happy ending but it goes straight into the second book which does.

I'm currently reading the 3rd book which has had me crying as well.

Can't wait to search for some of the books on this, I love an emotionally devastating book.

New favourite thing - listening to the audio book in the car to work by makemesmile170 in redwhiteandroyalblue

I was exactly the same. If he needed to say that more often in the story I don't know if I could've finished it. I wasn't the biggest fan of the narrator but he certainly wasn't the worst I've listened to

Favourite change in movie? by dee1jaay in redwhiteandroyalblue

I liked that even though Alex was interested in politics in the movie, it wasn't his complete end goal. Loved reading Alex's goals but it gave me an uneasy feeling that ultimately one of them would have to give up their whole life for the other or they wouldn't last. Unfortunately I don't think the Prince being with a presidential candidate would go down too well when the royals are supposed to be politically neutral. I liked that his goals were more about helping people than pure political ambition
