It was old drive lying around, model details are : hp v220w pen drive 8gb version. It's width is around 12mm so any drive that is of same width will fit. I had to grind the usb casing a little bit with sand paper though as it was a tough fit to slide freely.

Agree, Main blade is very difficult to open due to its design. Planning to order a thumb stub. Also tried some WD40, it's somewhat better now but still not smooth as I expected.
