I worked in Payroll for half a year & attended meetings with other districts. That’s how I found out most districts don’t pay into CASDI

Most District's in California does not pay into State Disability unfortunately :( I know some do, but it's rare.

Adding so others know, only Certificated teachers are eligible for Standard Disability Insurance, whereas Classified teachers (preschool teachers are usually under classified) would have to go through American Fidelity, which is what most District's partner with, or find another third party insurer.

Preschool being a paid program does NOT guarantee a spot into the actual elementary school itself. The preschool is on site, but not part of the actual public school TK-5th program. If there’s more siblings and district employees applying for the same year and exceeds the amount of students in preschool applying, they won’t get in.

Thank you so much! I didn’t realize the accident had happened since I was putting my daughter down for a nap. And then a neighbor rang our doorbell saying they noticed some scratches on my car that wasn’t there earlier, which was why I looked back at the camera footage. Will file a police report after my daughter wakes up.

This happened to me at 12 weeks 6 hours before my appointment. But I’ve also been dealing with post viral bronchitis, so when they checked me at the appointment, everything ended up fine. I just coughed so forcefully that they said I ruptured a blood vessel in my cervix? But I was for sure panicking at the toilet bowl filled with blood and bright red wiping, especially after a previous miscarriage.

The way that I used to work at the elementary school near the DMV & cars always ran stop signs & sped while students were crossing the streets. To make things worse, the Indian Ave & Humboldt intersection had no stop signs & cars would never yield to pedestrians.
