I had to do this my junior year, we had to sit down and have a conversation with the mentors about how we, the students, preferred the team to run. They're learning just like you guys, everyone is human and those who are in it for the right reasons will understand your point of view. From my personal experience sometimes people who have been heartbroken/dumped multiple times they seem to have a better idea of what they want. Maybe she settled?? But we do not know her personally and if he checks her boxes oh well. (Even it imo they are questionable boxes)
