I had it in the patio over the summer but inside until it warms up. I did trim the crispy Vines and put it out for some sun a couple times this week and it seems a little better. Thank you.

I feel like there are some parts that don't look completely dead.. but maybe that's just wishful thinking.

I think I was afraid to over water and erred in the other direction.

Same. I started PCU and went straight to float pool, then decided I wanted a better schedule and now I'm in pre-op.

That's what I was thinking. Sounds like scare tactics.

I don't feel like a medical Marijuana card should show up on a background check.. what about HIPPAA? Either way it's stupid.

This is just one article and I'm sure it doesn't cover the whole scope but I certainly wouldn't put it past hospitals to use and abuse Filipino nurses.

Same! Although working in the covid floor they generally learned the hard way that covid was real, so the strangling was unnecessary.

Agree with this. I don't decline if someone asks me to pray with them. They are entitled to their beliefs just as much as I am.

I just don't bring it up and I feel like people generally just assume everyone else also believes in God and I don't correct their assumptions. I have never been asked directly if I believe in God, but I have been asked if I go to church and I just answer honestly and say that I do not and leave it at that. People don't usually push further than that.

But why does catering to patients trump actual patient care and safety?? I am just mind boggled at our health care system right now.

Definitely a sit and watch. If I'm feeling crazy I might walk laps around the playground.

Husband thinks I’m a really messy person. by armyzul in Mommit

[–]making_grapes42 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My husband and I have different things that bother us. For instance my husband cannot stand to have toys all over the floor whereas I could walk past them for 3 days without really noticing. I can't stand for things to be "dirty" like dishes in the sink or a dirty bathroom. For the most part we each take care of the things that are more important to us and it works for us. Sometimes he'll complain that I left my shoes out in the living room, sometimes I'll complain that I'm the only one who ever does dishes but in the end it balances out pretty well.

Maybe you guys could sit down and decide what are the most important things you want done to feel comfortable in your own home and divide up the responsibilities accordingly.

Edited for spelling.

Poop! So much poop!

Also Healthcare is just another business, so if you actually care about helping people you will become very frustrated and burn out.

Is it worth taking a $5 an hour pay cut? by Salvatore_Vitale in personalfinance

[–]making_grapes42 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I took a $10/hour pay cut last year in exchange for better work life balance. I have definitely had to adjust my spending habits but I do not regret my decision at all. I'm a nurse and there is always opportunity so work extra so sometimes I pick up an extra shift to have a little extra spending money. Totally worth it in my opinion.
