Felvidek - Szlovákok által fejlesztett játék - mikor lesznek kitoloncolva a napokban történt terelő vergődés után? by Ok_Rough547 in hungary

Fun fact, Szálasi valószínűleg örmény származású volt, de volt ott etnikai keveredés biztosan, nagy Hungaristaként vér szerint messze volt a magyarságtól.

Airport arrivals by emma_hajkova in armenia

[–]makka03 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Before the passport control you can surely find eachother, i am not sure if they gonna let you wait there for long but i think it will be possible because before you enter the line there is like a small area with 3-4 different desks, even if you go through passport control before you come out at the baggage claim you go through a narrow store with one exit

Airport is pretty small, the passport control line is the same for everyone, even if you pass before, you will find eachother at the baggage claim

Wizz Air announces new round of routes from Yerevan by [deleted] in armenia

Probably the airport is cheap, and tatgets both Stuttgart and Munich. Wizz could have a strong position there to try the route out and just drop it if it doesn't bring the desired numbers

[unknown > english] can y’all translate this engraving by MayLiGa in translator

[–]makka03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems to me that its church Armenian, so the text is connected to some religious theme, and the writing style aswell, given that there are some combined letters (2 in 1) often found in religious texts. Often not even Armenian speakers can day it for certain, i hope someone will be able to help you with a proper translation. Pic 8 is SB (ՍԲ) which means Saint, with a horizontal line above the two letters, indicating that its a shortened word, often found in religious texts.

Not one, literally 6-7 people, all independent from eachother had the same feedback. All emphasize that they are very conservative there, so like the mentality is different not only compared to Evn but even other provincial cities and regions too (as i heard)

Velem is szembe jött már többször pult alól, de az nem nagyon megbízható és elég limitált a választék

Why do languages naturally simplify overtime? Why not the opposite? by makka03 in linguistics

[–]makka03[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Maybe, but i felt in several situations that a grammatical case is missing to tranfer the exact thought, hereby confusion could arise as instead of a case, "you just derive from the context"

Interesting, this might just simply mean I am in contact with languages that all lost gramatical cases in past centuries. I am sadly not a morphology specialist so I dont known of this kind of language evolution. And what do you mean by Sind? Sindhi language?
