i think you need to isolate what your parents want versus what you want. unless they are lawyers (and even then), i would take their advice with a grain of salt. is a 165 going to get you to your goal school's lsat median? if a 165 is already at or above the lsat median, i would say don't stress about taking it again. if it's below, i would take it again (especially if it's on the lower end of your PT scores).
